Uncle Rob paid us a surprise visit last weekend. He came bearing gifts for everyone. For the kids, he brought colored paper for paper airplanes (and icon my kids have branded him with). And some really cool coloring/activity books.
For me, a guitar amp for my Zumba classes (because my little radio stereo just doesn't project the sound well), complete with iPod hookups. It ROCKS!!! Now, all I need is a elec. guitar!
And for Ryan, the OSTRICH EGG.
On Sunday morning, they drilled the hole, drained, blended, and partook. I didn't eat any because of their reactions to it. Ryan says it's "gamely." In fact, it was so "gamely" that they threw the rest of it away.
However, we will soon be the proud owners of a GOLDEN EGG...
(oh, and it took me a good scrubbing to get the yucky egg smell out of my blender!...blech)
